STEVE BERRY has been writing since 1990. In 2000 and 2001 he won the Georgia State Bar fiction writing contest and his two short stories appeared in the Georgia State Bar Journal. He also tried his hand at novel contests. An early version of his first published novel, The Amber Room, placed third at the 1998 Florida First Coast Writers Festival. He lives on the Georgia coast in Camden County.
